To sustain our efforts on behalf of theatre students, aspiring and working theatre professionals and theatre audiences nationwide, the American Theatre Wing needs your support. As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, your tax deductible donation will help us in celebrating excellence and supporting education in the theatre through our many programs. CHORUS ($50 to $99) - receive an American Theatre Wing pin, recognition on the American Theatre Wing website and discounts at local restaurants and other establishments, using the American Theatre Wing donor card.
FEATURED PLAYER ($100 to $249) - receive invitations to free pre-opening screenings of films with a theatrical background, such as Sweeney Todd and Mamma Mia!, and special invitations to workshops and readings at Off Broadway theatres supported by the American Theatre Wing plus the benefits of the previous category.
LEADING ROLE ($250 to $499) - receive an invitation to the Tony Awards Dress Rehearsal, a Tony Awards Playbill, may request copies of Working in the Theatre DVDs and Downstage Center CDs for home library (limited to 4 a year) plus the benefits of the previous categories.
STAR ($500 to $999) - receive an application to purchase tickets to the Tony Awards and Tony Ball; invitation to an exclusive donor event (past events have included a conversation with Harvey Fierstein and a private cocktail party with Dee Hoty) plus the benefits of the previous categories.
DIRECTOR ($1,000 to $2,499) - receive an additional invitation to an exclusive donor event, opportunity to purchase House Seat Tickets for regular prices for Broadway shows, based on availability (up to 4 requests a year) plus the benefits of the previous categories.
AUTHOR ($2,500 to $4,999) - receive two (2) complimentary seats to the American Theatre Wing's Grants luncheon in December, a gathering of the leaders of New York's non-profit theatres; a private lunch with the American Theatre Wing's Executive Director; a framed Tony Award poster plus the benefits of the previous categories.
PRODUCER ($5,000 and above) - receive a private lunch with the American Theatre Wing's Board Chairman with special guest artist plus the benefits of the previous categories.
Matching Gifts
Your employer can also play a helpful role by doubling, or even tripling, your gift to the American Theatre Wing through its matching gift program. Please check with your Human Resources Department to find out whether or not your employer participates in a matching gift program.
